Named after a 17th-century pirate, this is one of the handsomest waterfront restaurants in Cancun's Hotel Zone. Built on the lagoon underneath a giant palapa roof, its indoor-outdoor terrace is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. It has its own lobster farm, so the delicacy is offered year-round (at market price) and is fresh -- not frozen like at so many other restaurants. Also good are the "Treasure Chest" (shrimp stuffed with lobster) and los pirates (beef medallions in a three-peppercorn sauce).
