Welcome to Grenada
Known as the Isle of Spice
Grenada is a major producer of nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, mace, cocoa, and other spices. The island is as fragrant as it is verdant. Bordered by stunning sugar white and black sand beaches, Grenada's heart is a mountainous terrain of lush rainforest, waterfalls, and spice plantations. Its capital, St. George, is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean. Visitors can tour a nutmeg processing plant, explore the island's waterfalls, take a guided tour of its rainforests, hike its mountains, or spend time under or on the sea.
The southernmost of the Windward Islands, the nation of Grenada comprises the island of Grenada and its sister islands, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
